Die SPD-Fraktion hat am 04.09.2018 einen Gesetzentwurf in den Hess. Landtag eingebracht, mit dem Ziel Straßenausbaubeiträge abzuschaffen.
Die Kommunen brauchen dafür einen finanziellen Ausgleich, den das Land tragen muss. Denn auch ohne die Erhebung von Beiträgen müssen die Kommunen den Erhalt und Ausbau der kommunalen Infrastruktur leisten können. Der Gesetzentwurf der SPD-Fraktion sieht deshalb eine Investitionspauschale von 60 Mio. Euro für die Kommunen vor.
