Urgent Appeal Regarding Flight Training Restrictions

Every year more GA freedoms are taken in Malta.

I am a pilot

Im a hobbyist ppl pilot and cannot fly to keep my currency and license after spending 20000 to get my ppl

To continue my studies towards a career in aviation with the prospected cost and a reasonable timeframe.

I'm a student pilot. Timing restrictions and rising costs are both a concern.

I do not think that, because of the odd incident of pilot trainers, restricting learner pilots from having their training is going to help them. It's like saying we do not allow trainer drivers on the road because they may crash!!!
They are learners and they need to practice. I think that it is the responsibility of the school to make sure that the learners are responsible and qualified enough to fly. Also the schools are responsible to know if the weather conditions are ideal for beginner learners to fly!!!! I would not leave it in the hands of the learner pilots to decide if the weather conditions are favourable or not.
That is the way things should be done and not ban learner pilots from flying.

I have my siblings studying for their pilots licence, they put in a lot off effort and love what they do. It is sad to see them treated so unfairly
