With respect to mineral specimens which may be subject to this law: If protecting these materials is so important, then there must be agents present underground in the mines making sure that no "cultural treasures" that might be more valuable than those in mineral collections are destroyed by turning them into industrial materials. This is where the great majority of these "cultural treasures" go and have always gone! I'm sorry that I can't write this in German, but at least I can read German and understand most of the proposed regulation and the discussions about it.
