Selbsterfahrung

Politiker sollten immer mit gutem Beispiel vorangehen. Gerade die Entscheidung für eine "Masken"-Pflicht wird getroffen, ohne selbst die Erfahrung gemacht zu haben, wie es ist, wenn man längere Zeit so ein Ding vor Mund und Nase hat. Eigene Erfahrung ist unabdingbar, wenn man den Menschen etwas zumutet.

Zweifelhafter Nutzen

Gerade die Tatsache, dass Aerosole im Gegensatz zu früheren Behauptungen einen großen Teil (ca. 50%) der Infektionen verursachen, spricht gegen eine Maskenpflicht. Sowohl im Bundestag als auch an anderen nicht-medizinischen Orten. Herkömmliche Alltags- und OP-Masken schützen ggf. vor Tröpfchen, aber nachweislich nicht gegen das Ein- oder Ausatmen von Aerosolen und auch Masken mit Partikelfilter und Ventil bieten keinen Fremdschutz. Die Zahlen aus der Praxis zeigen auch, dass Masken sowohl in Europa als auch Asien keinen Einfluss auf die Dynamik der Infektionen haben.
