Ca. 100.000 € Mehrkosten durch Fällung

Laut Aussage der Stadt kosten Fällung und Neuanpflanzung ca. 150 TE, während die Pflege der vorhandenen Bäume 30 - 60 TE kosten würde. Es kommt also durch Fällung und Neuanpflanzung zu Mehrkosten von 90 bis 120 TE. Neben allen ökologischen und stadtbildbezogenen Argumenten ist der Erhalt der Bäume also auch deutlich wirtschaftlicher.
