On May 29th 2019, the german TV channel SAT 1 showed an episode of the series ,,Im Namen der Gerechtigkeit", in which there was a cat hanging outside of a window. I do know, that it was just a dummy, but the dummy did look very realistic and within the episode, the owner of the cat mourned the death of her bloved ,,Tinky". It must not be a thing to show such content! Kids, teenagers and hypersensitive persons could be traumatized by something like that!
It's bad enough, that animals are still regarded as property. But that's no reason to show violently murdered animals at a time where young viewers might be watching TV!
It's absolutely irresbonsible and in my opinion, there need to be more restrictions!
Begrundelse
If you have a heart for animals, if you want to protect their safety and the safety of your children and if you want to stop the increasing amount of violent pictures shown in TV, please feel free to sign this petition. Thanks for your support.
