The Story of the first East Frisian Rock Opera „Wiet Land“ is the story of so many People and families that moved from East Frisia to the United States between 1820 and 1914. The travel was dangerous, adventurous and long. The Goal was a better Life, Hope, Freedom and a Future in Peace and Prosperity. Many Men and Woman worked hard and became proud Americans. But they never forgot where they came from, they didn’t deny their roots and language and traditions. Even today many descendants still speak „Platt“, this Concert will be for them and for all of those who want to be reminded.

Brungers&Band is a East Frisian Rockband and their story of Jan, Frieda and daughter „Lüttje Stern“ is a emotiona musicall journey placed in 1912. In 2017 they played this Rock opera to American Visitors and they invited them back to the States to bring this Story to full circle..
