Aufgrund der durch politischen Mutwillen verursachten schlechten Sicherheitslage (Messerangriffe, Vergewaltigungen, u.a. Straftaten) in Deutschland ist es wichtigddas Menschen, die in der Dunkelheit unterwegs sein müssen, sehen können was vor Ihnen liegt. Beleuchtete Straßen und Gehwege sind wichtig, und erschweren es kriminellen Personen andere Menschen anzugreifen.

Sie sprechen von: „fortschritt zur nachhaltigen Beleuchtung“. Dabei ist es nachhaltiger den Strom zu sparen wenn Nachts eh keiner unterwegs ist.

Es gibt Studien dazu, dass eine Staraßenbeleuchtung weder die Einbruchquote in Häuser, oder Autos, noch eine irdendwiegeartetete Straßenkriminalität senkt. Es vergeudet Energie und für die Tierwelt ist es ebenfalls schlecht.
