Sicherheit

Für körperlich behinderte Kommilitonen ist dieser ungesicherter Übergang leider ein Muss, wenn sie von der U-Bahnhaltestelle Lohmühlenstrasse aus zur HAW wollen. Die Lohmühlenstrasse hat keinerlei Fahrstühle, sodass nur die Rampe verwendet werden kann.Zudem brauchen körperlich Beeinträchtigte mehr Zeit zur Überquerung, sodass ein weitere Gefahrenquelle entsteht. Ein simpler Zebrastreifen reicht vollkommen aus und behindert nicht permanent den Verkehrsfluss, wie eine Bodenschwelle oder Ampel.

Sicherheit, Unfall, ÖPNV

Ich wurde schon mehfach beinahe Angefahren durch überhöhe Geschwindigkeit der PKW-Fahrer. Es muss eine sicher Überquerung und eine Bevorzugung von Fußgängern und ÖPNV her. 10.000 Studenten haben ein Anrecht auf einen Zebrastreifen genauso wie 500 Schüler an einer normalen Schule.

Ampel-Kompromiss

Eine Ampel wäre am sinnvollsten, so eine wie am Hauptbahnhof zur Spitaler Straße, wo das Ende der Ampelphase durch eine Zeitanzeige angezeigt wird. Für Autofahrer und Studenten, sodass dann zusätzlich der Hetzdruck genommen wird. Ein Zebrastreifen würde den Verkehr massiv behindern, da ja doch oft sehr viele Studenten kleckerweise die Straße überqueren. Es muss aber dringend was getan werden, sehr dringend.

Lohmühlenpark

Schöner wäre es einfach gleich den schon bestehenden Plan umzusetzen und die Straße zwischen Steindamm und Feuerwehr komplett zu entfernen. Dann ist diese gräßliche Straße weg und der (dann) angrenzende Park bietet wenigstens ein klein wenig Campusgefühl!

Verkehrsführung, Organisation

Grade zu Stoßzeiten ist am Berliner Tor sehr viel Verkehr der äußerst zähflüssig läuft, um diesen nicht weiterhin zu behindern sollten sich einige Mitmenschen einfach 2 Minuten mehr Zeit nehmen und einen kleinen Umweg hinnehmen, anstatt vor ort "schnell über die Straße zu huschen". Eine Fußgängerampel oder ein Zebrastreifen ist an dieser Stelle nicht Angebracht
