Die Qualität der AWO-Betreuung (von der Politik als „Leuchtturm“ in der Region bezeichnet) muss als Benchmark gelten, nicht umgekehrt herum die hervorragende Betreuung stoppen und auf ein gleichmäßiges gesetzlich gefordertes Maß absenken.

Neubau in Greutschule für Ganztagsbetreuung

Neubau in Greutschule für Betreuung • 2025-27 geplant mit Inbetriebnahme zum Schuljahr 27/28 • Der Neubau kommt selbst mit aktueller Planung zu spät mit dem schrittweisen Ende des Hortes ab 2025. • Eine Verzögerung des Baus ist zu erwarten, zumal die Finanzierung des Vorhabens noch nicht gesichert ist. • Wie will die Stadt den Personalbedarf decken? Da viele der Horterzieher/innen der AWO nicht aus Aalen kommen, ist nicht davon auszugehen, dass diese in die Betreuung der Stadt Aalen wechseln.

Ferienbetreuung

Ferienbetreuung • Derzeit ist das Angebot der Stadt Aalen auf 50 GTPlätze beschränkt. -> Wartelisten. 44 zusätzliche AWO Kinder sprengen den Rahmen. • Zukünftig sind in der Greutschule nach dem Neubau 8-10 Wochen pro Jahr Ferienbetreuung geplant, zu wenig bei 14 Wochen Ferien • Der zukünftige zeitliche Umfang ist bisher unklar definiert • Der Neubau der Stadt kommt selbst mit aktueller Planung Bauphase 2025-2027 zu spät; schrittweise Ende des AWO Hortes jedoch ab 2025 gem Plan Stadt.
