Those casino sales were just under W19.23 billion (US$14 million) compared to W370.2 billion in June. Compared to the same period last year, monthly casino sales decreased 38.2% to approximately W31.13 billion in July 2023.

Table game sales in July this year were tallied at 16.56 billion won, or 86.1 percent of total casino sales. That's down by half from the previous month and down 40.4 percent from the same month last year.

The casino drop (the amount customers paid to purchase the chips) in July was 303.87 billion won. That was up 2.6% month-on-month and up 23.4% year-on-year.

It did not say why casino sales fell in July quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year, but the decline for the month increased and was measured quarter-on-quarter and evaluated annually.

In the first seven months of this year, Grand Korea Leisure's casino decrease was KRW 2.16 trillion, up 17.7% year-on-year.

Under the Seven Luck brand, it operates three foreigner-only casinos, two in the capital city of Seoul and one in the southern port city of Busan.
