Seo Ho-cheol and Kim Hyung-jun shared their thoughts after combining for 10 RBIs in the wild-card deciding game to help the NC Dinos advance to the semifinals (best-of-three best-of-five series).
The duo batted seventh and eighth in the lineup and combined for five hits, including three home runs, 10 RBIs and four runs scored in the first game of the wild-card decider against the Doosan Bears at Changwon NC Park on April 19. He was responsible for 10 of NC's 14 runs on the day.
Seo Ho-cheol went 4-for-3 with one home run, six RBIs, one walk and two runs scored, including the game-winning hit in the fourth inning, while Kim Hyung-jun went 5-for-5 with two home runs, four RBIs and two runs scored.

Seo became the first player to hit a grand slam in a wild-card game, surpassing Lee Jung-hoo and Jose Fernandez (2021-5) for the most RBIs in a single-season wild-card game, and Kim set a new record for the youngest player to hit a home run in a wild-card game (23 years, 11 months, 17 days).
After the game, Seo was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the day and received $1 million in prize money.
"I'm glad that I was able to make a big contribution to the victory in the Wild Card Game," Seo said after the game.
"In my first at-bat, Kwak Bin threw me a fastball. I kept fouling it off and thought I was in good shape. I just thought about the fastball and turned the bat boldly, and the result was good," he explained.
"I'm not a big home run hitter, but the moment it hit, I knew it was a home run. In the dugout, I saw the manager, the coaches, and the players celebrating, so I was happy for them, especially since it was a come-from-behind win," he laughed.
Kim Hyung-jun, who also had a multi-homer performance, said, "For my first home run, (Seo) Ho-cheol hit a grand slam in front of me, so I just went into the batter's box feeling good. I didn't think about hitting a home run at all. I felt like I got hit on the way out. It was even better to get a run-scoring hit," he said. "The second time, I wasn't aiming for a home run either, but I saw a course I liked, swung the bat, and it went for a home run. I surprised myself."
Kim, who won a gold medal at the Hangzhou Asian Games, said his international experience helped him prepare for his first fall baseball game.
"A lot has changed since the Asian Games. I've become more relaxed. Playing in international tournaments gave me a taste of what it's like to be 사설토토 nervous in a big tournament, so even though I was nervous in fall baseball, I wasn't nervous. It was a big help," he explained.
NC's scoring formula was further expanded by the big hits of Seo Ho-cheol and Kim Hyung-jun. They may consider moving up in the batting order in future games.
"We'll decide on that after consulting with the hitting coach," said NC manager Kang Myung-hwa.
