This petition calls for a calendar reform.
A fairly simple alternative could be to switch to the Holocene calendar.

For the changeover, the last 2020 years would only have to be prefixed with a 1.
Instead of the year 2021 AD, we would now have the year 12021.

Obrazloženje

Non-Christians around the world are wondering why we still count the year 2021 Anno Domini "in the year of the Lord".
Something as essential as a calendar should be as neutral and independent as possible.
