Reading is a habit which is educational as well as entertaining too. Anyone can easily pass their idle time by reading books, newspapers, magazines and many more. Although I have met multifarious people in my life whom I can call book lovers. But, here, I would like to speak about my best friend, Riya, who is an avid reader. She has a great enthusiasm for reading books. Riya is 35 years old and a teacher by profession. She likes to read wide range of books not in free time actually but she keeps her some quality time aside to dive into books. If I talk about the sort of books she prefers to read is mystery or fantasy books, such as Harry Potter, Rich Dad Poor Dad and many more. Apart from this, she lovers reading the books based on the true stories that are both eye opening and exhilarating. Even though she was not a proficient reader in her early twenties, she inculcated herself in reading books when she came into the profession of school teaching. With the passage of time, she enhanced her skill more and more. Now, the time has come when she considers books as her best friend and cannot spend a single day without getting herself indulged in reading. Now, she is passionate towards reading. If she has started any book, she tries to complete it as early as possible. People call her bookworm but she is not as she just enjoys whatever she reads. Along with this, this skill is also fruitful for her career growth, she has become a storehouse of knowledge as it happens hardly she does not know the meaning of any word. All in all, by reading books all the time, she is enhancing her personality and communication skills more.
