Battlefield 3 does not support the LCD of the Logitech G15/G19 keyboard. The latest SDK for creating an applet for the G15/G19 is always available here: [01]. This petition is to show Electronic Arts that there are many G15/G19 owners world-wide who are waiting for an LCD applet included in BF3. Logitech as the keyboard manufacturer or enthusiastic users CANNOT provide such an applet since this would require reverse engineering of BF3 (DLL development) which is against the EULA. ONLY EA can include the applet in BF3. Probably EA can simply re-use the internal support of the G15/G19 from BFBC2 and adapt it to BF3.

Diese Petition soll Electronic Arts zeigen, dass es weltweit viele G15/G19-Besitzer gibt, die darauf warten, dass das LCD in BF3 unterstützt wird. Logitech als Tastaturhersteller oder enthusiastische Anwender können ein derartiges Applet NICHT entwickeln, da dies Reverse Engineering von BF3 hiesse (DLL-Entwicklung), was gegen die EULA verstiesse. NUR EA kann dieses Applet in BF3 integrieren. Höchstwahrscheinlich kann sogar die Softwareroutine für die G15/G19 aus BFBC2 leicht angepasst und in BF3 verwendet werden.

BFBC2 supports the Logitech G15/G19 LCD. With BF3, EA stopped this support. It seems that EA cooperates with Razor since they offer the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Gaming Keyboard with Battlefield 3 Collector's Edition, whereas Activision cooperates with Logitech offering full support for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.

Dies wäre sehr sinnvoll, warum Sachen abschaffen die sich als gut erwiesen haben. Da würde man ja einen Schritt zurück machen und das bin ich von EA nicht gewohnt. Hoffe das es zeitnah umgesetzt wird! Denn mal ganz im Ernst, so ein Aufwand kann das doch nicht sein!
