We, the loyal player base of Sea of Thieves, are requesting that Rare Ltd. and Microsoft Studios implement two significant changes in the multiplayer mode of Sea of Thieves to enhance the gaming experience for all players:

  1. Increase the Maximum Player Count per Crew: Allow crews to consist of more than four players. This change will enable larger groups of friends to play together, fostering greater collaboration, strategy, and social interaction.
  2. Enable Multiple Ships per Crew: Allow crews to operate multiple ships simultaneously. This will provide greater flexibility in gameplay, allowing players to form various ship combinations, such as two 3-player ships or three 2-player ships. This feature will enhance the strategic depth of the game and create more dynamic and exciting adventures on the high seas.

By implementing these changes, Sea of Thieves can offer a richer and more engaging multiplayer experience, attracting new players and keeping the community active and satisfied.

Reason

Increasing the maximum player count in the multiplayer mode of Sea of Thieves and allowing multiple ships to sail together is important because it can significantly enhance the gaming experience. Currently, crews are limited to four players, with each crew operating a single ship. By allowing more players to play together and enabling them to divide into multiple ships, more complex and exciting adventures could be undertaken, enriching the game for everyone involved.

  1. Improved Social Interaction: Larger crews and the ability to operate multiple ships promote collaboration and communication among players, enhancing the social experience within the game.
  2. Increased Game Depth: More players in a crew and the option to command multiple ships enable tackling more challenging quests and objectives, increasing the game's depth and complexity.
  3. More Variety and Flexibility: Players can take on different roles within the crew and operate various ships, boosting flexibility and enjoyment in gameplay. For example, crews could split into two 3-player ships or three 2-player ships.
  4. Strengthening the Community: Allowing more players per crew and multiple ships can help build a stronger and more active community, as more friends and acquaintances can play together.

These changes would not only increase player satisfaction but could also attract new players and ensure the game's longevity. We, therefore, ask Rare Ltd. and Microsoft Studios to increase the maximum player count in the multiplayer mode of Sea of Thieves and allow multiple ships to sail together, unlocking the full potential of this fantastic game.

Thank you for your support, Fabian Werner from Bad Hersfeld
