Mario Gomez ist eine VfB-Legende und hat es verdient in seinem letztem Spiel für den VfB Stuttgart in der Startelf zu stehen! Mario erzielte in 229 Pflichtspiele für den VfB 109 Tore und bereitete weitere 30 Tore vor. Zudem war er ein extrem wichtiger Bestandteil der Meistermannschaft 2007 und prägte eine ganze Ära von VfB-Fans. Auch wenn er vielen Fans das Herz brach, als er 2009 zum FC Bayern München wechselte, konnte er seit seiner Rückkehr die Herzen Vieler auf ein Neues erobern. Diesesmal allerdings weniger durch seine sportlichen Leistungen, sondern viel mehr als Motivator von der Bank.
Der Aufstieg ist uns quasi nicht mehr zu nehmen und falls Trainer Pellegrino Matarazzo noch einen letzten Ansporn braucht um Mario Gomez von Beginn an spielen zu lassen (gerne auch als Kapitän!), dann sollte er sich diese Unterschriften ansehen!
