Das Krankenhaus Bingen ist für die Nahversorgung der Bevölkerung von größter Bedeutung. Dies schließt auch die Einrichtung einer Notfallzentrale mit ein - besonders da das Ingelheimer Krankenhaus geschlossen wurde. Der Landkreis Mainz-Bingen und die Stadt Bingen sind gefordert alles zu tun, um die krankenhausärztliche Versorgung der Menschen in der Region sicherzustellen. Dabei ist die Überarbeitung der Konzeption , des Angebotes notwendig.
