Es ist in den 70´ern viel zu viel abgerissen worden und durch Beton und Konformität ersetzt worden. Beispiel: Alter Bahnhof Gelsenkirchen Erhält man dagegen die historischen (in dem Alter kann man das sagen) Gebäude kommen eine Magarethenhöhe, eine Zeche Zollverein etc dabei raus

Bei den vielen Leerständen und städtebaulichen Defiziten in Gerthe sollte man an geeigneterer Stelle abreißen. Und nicht den Projektentwicklern von Discountern die "Stadtplanung" überlassen. Statt dessen sollte man eine tragfähige Nutzung für das Gebäude finden,verbunden mit einem innovativen, qualitätvollen Umbau, der dazu beiträgt, die repräsentative Eingangssituation des ehemaligen Zechengeländes zu erhalten.
