Es ist schon längst hinfällig und sorgt für mehr frischen Wind ...

... dass jeder amtierende Kanzler max. für 2 Legislaturperioden wiedergewählt werden darf. Dies würde endlich die verkrusteten Strukturen im Inneren des Parlaments etwas lockern und es hätten auch gegnerische Parteien eine reellere Chance, gewählt zu werden.

Die Beschränkung der Amtszeit führt zu einem Zwangswechsel auch bei einem guten Staatsoberhaupt. Die Abwahl eines Staatsoberhauptes muss demokratisch durch das Wahlergebnis erfolgen. Das Amt des Bundespräsidenten als mehr oder weniger rein representative Funktion ist mit der des Bundeskanzlers als Regierungsoberhaupt nicht zu vergleichen.
