Wichtigtuerei von ein paar Weißen

Ich halte den Wirbel um diesen althergebrachten Namen für nicht zielführend. Der Begriff "Mohr" wirkt in meiner Wahrnehmung nicht herabwürdigend, eher als romantisches Relikt. Farbige nächtigen im 3 Mohren. Was maßen sich da ein paar Weiße an, über die Wahrnehmung anderer Völker zu entscheiden?

Mohr ist kein herabwürdigender Begriff sondern ein Relikt aus Traditionen.

Mohr ist eine veraltete deutschsprachige Bezeichnung für Menschen mit dunkler Hautfarbe. Historisch (alt- und mittelhochdeutsch) bezeichnete es zunächst Bewohner Mauretaniens (Mauren), bereits im Mittelalter auch verallgemeinert Menschen mit dunkler Hautfarbe, seit dem 16. Jahrhundert ausschließlich in dieser erweiterten Bedeutung.[1] Das Wort wird seit dem Ende des 20. Jahrhunderts nur noch selten gebraucht, und wenn, dann im historischen oder literarischen Zusammenhang oder als Teil von Bezeichnungen, z. B. als Wappenfigur in der Heraldik.
