Wie wichtig diese Petition und eine kritische Grundhaltung bei dem Thema Tiefengeothermie ist, hat mein Besuch bei der GeoTHERM 2024 in Offenburg gezeigt. Die Vertreter von Wissenschaft und Landesbergbauamt Freiburg lobten zunächst diese Technologie. Später räumten sie u.a. ein, dass es keine wissenschaftliche Nachweise darüber gibt, ob sich die Anlagen in geringen Abständen im Oberrheingraben negativ beeinflussen können.

Goldgräberstimmung

Die für die Genehmigungen von Tiefengeothermie verantwortliche Freiburger Regierungspräsidentin in Freiburg erwartet "Boom bei Tiefengeothermie" ... der Branchenverband "Bundesverband Geothermie e.V." bezeichnet in dem Zusammenhang den Oberrheingraben von Mannheim bis Basel als "Dorado der Geothermiebohrungen"! Also Goldgräberstimmung. Wo das hinführen kann, zeigt ein Beitrag der DW von 2017 "Wasser siegt über Gold".
