Die Schweiz macht es vor

Mindestens für einheimisches frisches saisonales Obst und Gemüse macht uns die Schweiz schon vor, wie es gehen könnte: Während der heimischen Anbausaison (Bewirtschaftungsperiode) gibt es einen Zollschutz vor Importware. Das reduziert den Preisdruck auf die einheimischen Erzeuger.

Richtig viel kaputt

Als Agrarökonom beobachte ich seit Jahrzehnten das widersprüchliche Verhalten der Verbraucher. Auflagen für unsere Landwirte will jeder, bezahlen tut keiner. Den internationalen Lebenmittelkonzernen ist das recht, sie liefern die immer größer werdende fehlende Menge aus Billigproduktion der Schwellen-und Entwicklungsländern. Die Kosten sind gigantisch, für Transport, Umweltzerstörung und Sozialdumping. Agrarprodukte aus Deutschland gehören raus aus den Freihandels- oder Zollabkommen und rein in die sensiblen Produkte, dann haben wir hier sofort Erfolg mit dem gewünschten Umbau unserer LW.

Regionalität der Produkte

Grundsätzlich sollten Lebensmittel nur dort angeboten werden wo sie auch erzeugt werden. Lebensmittel durch die Welt zu kutschieren ist ökologischer und ökonomischer Unfug und belastet unnütz die Umwelt.
