Zur Frauenfußballweltmeisterschaften wurden auf der Aachenerstraße sowie für den Nordpark und das neue baugebiet Dahlenerheide erhebliche Arbeiten für ein schnelleres Internet durchgeführt. Hier heben alle an einem Strang gezogen, da ja auch das Gewerbe in den Nordpark gelockt werden soll und die Dahlenerheide mit den ca. 100 Wohnhäusern anstand. Jedoch das alte Dorthausen und die Straße in richtung Hehn, ist seit dem so schlecht mit DSL angebunden, das teilweise nur noch ca. 900 kBit/s gegeben sind, maximal ca. 2 MBit/s. 1Mbit/s zeitweise instabil! Auf einen Haushalt? Selbst bei 2 Personen ist das gucken von Youtube auf geringer Qualität nicht flüssig möglich! Firmen (zb in Wanlo) werden extrem eingeschrenckt. Das ist alles andere als zeitgemäß!
