Many thanks to everyone who supported the petition to preserve the only free teaching/learning platform! There was success, albeit in an unusual way. Springer did not allow itself to be dissuaded from the shutdown (and thus accepted the loss of valuable teaching material), but the software company Lukify stepped into the breach, which now offers the free teaching/learning platform "Versity+" and is expanding it further depending on reports of demand. In order for this to last, it would be helpful to use it as much as possible! Here is the link:
