No other country is denounced as frequently in the various UN Bodies and organizations as the Jewish State, and for the most part with the support of Germany. More than half of all UN resolutions are directed against Israel, while countries such as Iran, Syria or North Korea, which violate human rights on a daily basis, are hardly sanctioned or not sanctioned at all. By doing so, Germany is becoming one with those voices that question Israel's right to exist with aggressive rhetoric, even though Israel is the only functional democracy in the Middle East.

Chancellor Merkel, change Germany's voting pattern at the UN and vote against resolutions that impose a double standard on Israel, one-sidedly condemning it.

In this context, the conduct of Christoph Heusgen as the highest representative of the government and ambassador to the United Nations, who supports this double standard in his speeches and actions, is no longer acceptable. How can we in Germany claim that we are doing everything we can to stand up to antisemitism and Jew hatred, if through our vote we antagonize against Israel?

Chancellor Merkel, make a statement and replace UN Ambassador Heusgen.

Currently, Israel is under daily attack from the terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The United Nations and its bodies remain silent on this. The attempt to condemn Hamas for its terrorist activities in a resolution in the UN General Assembly failed last December.

Chancellor Merkel, use Germany's chair of the UN Security Council in April 2019 to stop antisemitism and Israel hatred on the world political stage.
