PETITION: Für den sofortigen Umzug nach Levent im Schuljahr 2025–2026

Wir, die unterzeichnenden Eltern und Mitglieder der Schulgemeinschaft, fordern eine sofortige Entscheidung bezüglich des Umzugs unserer Schule für das Schuljahr 2025–2026.

Wir sind zutiefst besorgt über die anhaltende Unsicherheit im Zusammenhang mit dem bevorstehenden Umzug. Wir stellen Folgendes fest:
• Das Gebäude in Levent ist die einzige erdbebensichere und realistische Option, die sowohl den Dd1- als auch den Dd3-Standards entspricht.
• Das Deutsche Konsulat hat seine Unterstützung bestätigt und ist bereit, den Mietvertrag im Namen der Schule zu unterzeichnen.
• Das aktuelle Gebäude in Karamancılar muss laut ausdrücklichem Brief von GeneralKonsulin Dr. Grienberger im Sommer 2025 geräumt werden.

Als Eltern erklären wir unmissverständlich:
• Wir erwarten, dass der Mietvertrag für Levent ohne weiteres Zögern unterzeichnet wird – jede zusätzliche Verzögerung birgt das Risiko, dass Schüler zu anderen Schulen wechseln.
• Wir lehnen jede Maßnahme ab, die das Verhältnis der Schule zum Konsulat gefährdet oder die Sicherheit der Schüler, insbesondere im Hinblick auf Erdbebenvorsorge, beeinträchtigt.

Dies ist ein Moment für Einheit – nicht für Spaltung. Die Sicherheit, Stabilität und Zukunft unserer Kinder müssen oberste Priorität haben.

Mit dieser Petition bringen wir unsere geschlossene Unterstützung für den Umzug nach Levent zum Ausdruck und fordern dringendes sowie verantwortungsbewusstes Handeln des Generalkonsulats und des Vorstands

PETITION: For the Immediate Relocation to Levent for the 2025–2026 School Year

We, the undersigned parents and members of the school community, demand an immediate decision regarding the relocation of our school for the 2025–2026 academic year.

We are deeply concerned about the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the upcoming relocation. We state the following:

• The building in Levent is the only earthquake-safe and realistic option that meets both Dd1 and Dd3 standards.
• The German Consulate has confirmed its support and is prepared to sign the lease on behalf of the school.
• According to an explicit letter by the Consil General Dr. Grienberger the current building in Karamancılar must be vacated by summer 2025.

As parents, we state unequivocally:
• We expect the lease for Levent to be signed without further delay—any additional delay risks students transferring to other schools.
• We oppose any measure that jeopardizes the school's relationship with the Consulate or compromises student safety, especially regarding earthquake preparedness.
This is a moment for unity—not division. The safety, stability, and future of our children must be the highest priority.

With this petition, we express our unified support for the move to Levent and call for urgent and responsible action from the Consulate General and the School Board.
