The conversion of the former CampusRadio room into a server room will take away further space that was used by students to realize various creative projects. Last year, for example, band rehearsals were held, costumes were sewn and screen printing workshops were held there.
Our university has at least two courses, MUK and MGP, which include the production of creative work. This includes manual work that needs space to be realized.
We study at the HSO to learn creative practices in different areas. We must have the opportunity to realize projects for school at school.
Reason
The aim of this petition is to bring our concerns to the attention of the HSO management. We want to make it clear that the need for creative workspace is not just a wish of individual students.
Our courses are designed so that students will work things like set construction, photography, linolum printing, screen printing, tailoring, etc.
Our homes and the graphics workshop in the D-building are too small for this.
