Overview of the Demands
1. Construction of at least 4 mountain bike trails and a practice course on the Lindenberg.
2. Creation of a bike park development plan from trail center to bike park, taking into account the expansion of the range of trails.
3. Effective publicity of the offer by the city of Ilmenau.
4. Establishment of a permanent ascent aid. (shuttle service; drag lift ...)
5. Construction of a parking lot, sanitary facilities, development and construction of a multifunctional building with sports-specific services in the immediate vicinity of the valley station.
6. Acceptance of climatic change and rethinking of the year-round sports offer.

Expectations
- Statement by city administration and city council by 12/2024

Reason

On 17.06.2021, the Lindenberg development concept was adopted by Ilmenau City Council with 8 measures. The investment sum of the original concept was reduced to 40% and thus the proposed projects were also canceled or reduced. The progress of implementation since the resolution was passed is by no means satisfactory and seems to be increasingly losing the attention of Ilmenau's city council.
This petition is addressed directly to the city council of Ilmenau and is drawn up on behalf of the steadily growing community of cyclists in the city and throughout Germany.

Thank you for your support, Philipp Schöler , Ilmenau
