Dear School Administration,
We, the parents of Class 1d at Luitpoldschule Bayreuth, have heard with great concern that our class will be dissolved next school year and the children will be redistributed.
We kindly ask you to reconsider this decision.
Our children need stability, familiar teachers, and small class sizes to grow and learn well. They have only just settled in, formed friendships, and built trust – a change now would harm them.
The current class teacher has built up the class with dedication and empathy. Especially in such a diverse class – with different languages, cultures, and needs – continuity is essential.
We therefore ask:
Please let Class 1d remain as it is – with the current teacher.

Begründung
I am a mother and stepmother of two children in class 1d at the Luitpold School in Bayreuth. After a challenging start to school life, my children had only just settled into the class, made friends and built up trust in the class teacher.
The children in 1d come from very different social and linguistic backgrounds. Many speak little or no German at home. This is precisely why the reliability of a permanent teacher is particularly important - it gives the children orientation, security and stability.
A sudden break-up of the class would be a big step backwards for the children. They would have to fit into new groups and get to know new teachers, possibly without taking into account their previous relationships or special needs.
As parents, we only want the best for our children: a stable learning environment, small classes and a teacher who knows their strengths and weaknesses. All of this would be jeopardized if the class is disbanded now.
