It cost about $115 million to build a new casino and entertainment complex. It is California's first casino to be built from scratch since Proposition 1A passed in March 2000. The complex is open to the public for all amenities.

The 2,000 slots and video machines at the Pala Casino include the famous Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Monopoly, Megabox, Blazing Sevens, Double Diamond, and Triple Play Poker. The casino is expected to make between $30 million and $40 million in annual revenue and will employ about 1,300 employees.

The Pala Casino is located 15 miles north of escondido, California, and 5 miles east of highway 15 on national highway 76.
