Tadej Pogačar Reclaims the Tour De France Crown

Tadej Pogačar (Slovenia) has reclaimed the title of the world's top road cycling race, the Tour de France 2024, by beating his 'rival' Jonas Vingegaard (Denmark).

Pogačar started from Florence, Italy on the 29th of last month and ran a total of 3,498 km over 21 stages to Nice, southern France, in 83 hours, 38 minutes, and 56 seconds.

The Tour de France traditionally decides the winner in 20 stages, and then holds a celebratory race in the final 21st stage leading to the Champs-Élysées in Paris, France.
