Die gelbe Tonne fordert mit ihrembegrenzten Fassungsvermögen den Verbraucher auf, sein Konsumverhalten zu verändern, weil der Verbraucher nicht mehr endlos gelbe Säcke vor seine Tür stellen kann.

Gelbe Tonne wird bundesweit zum Standard

Die Gelbe Tonne setzt sich bundesweit zunehmend als Standard zur Erfassung von Verpackungsabfällen durch und ist nachweislich wesentlich umweltfreundlicher und damit nachhaltiger als die Tüte. So wurde in 2020 in Deutschland über 2 Mio. Gelbe Tonnen in Landkreise und Städten neu eingeführt, so z.B. im Kreis Ostholstein mit 200.000 Einwohner, dort werden 6,5 Mio. Plastiksäcke eingespart und im Kreis Pinneberg mit 315.000 Einwohner sogar 15 Mio. Gelbe Säcke pro Jahr (!).

Oft gibt es Platzprobleme - wo soll ich diese Tonne hinstellen. Hier haben wir Restmüll- Papier- ggf. Bio-Tonne. wo soll da eine weiter Tonne hin? (Wir haben hier keinen Platz. 1 oder 2 Säcke kann man problemlos in der 'Abstellkammer unterbringen' Dies fördert auch die Vermeidung von solchen Abfällen.
