Die zentrale Lage der Alice-Eleonoren-Schule in Darmstadt ermöglicht einen sehr großen Einzugsradius, der vom Kreis Bergstraße über den Kreis Groß-Gerau, Darmstadt und den Odenwaldkreis reicht.

Männer

Die AES bildet in den letzten Jahren verstärkt auch männliche Erzieher aus. Damit passt sich die inhaltliche Ausrichtung der Schule an den gesellschaftlichen Anforderungen an. Die AES zeigt hier mitten in Darmstadt bereits ihre Anpassungsfähigkeit und Flexibilität bzgl. der veränderten und erweiterten Ausbildungsinhalte.

Erzieher mit Heilerzieher

Die AES erweitert ihre Ausbildungsinhalte. Zukünftige Erzieher/-innen arbeiteten jetzt schon verstärkt mit den zukünftigen Heilerziehern zusammen. Dies bedeutete eine weitere Verbesserung der Ausbildungsqualität, die mit der Verlagerung nach Diebung wegfallen würde.

Lehrkräfte

Das Lehrerpersonal ist überdurchschnittlich gut. Das liegt unter anderem daran, dass viele Lehrer bereits wie beispielsweise im Erzieherbereich zuvor als Sozialpädagoge oder ähnliches gearbeitet haben. Das Auseinanderreißen der Schule würde bedeuten, dass die hohe fachliche Qualität der Lehrkräfte verloren ginge, da das gesamte Personal voneinander getrennt werden würde und viele Lehrer dann vielleicht zu einer ganz anderen Schule wechseln.
