Antisemitismus ist generell zu verurteilen. Wie diese Diskussion allerdings die aktuelle documenta überschattet, ist für mich nur schwer zu ertragen. Jetzt zum Beispiel die Verlegung der documenta an eine anderen Standort zu fordern ist populistisch und dem Thema völlig unangemessen.

weil sie eine Möglichkeit bietet, den unsäglichen Hetzkampagnen einiger Medien, z.B. SZ und Welt, etwas entgegen zu setzen. Danke HNA !

Die alte Geschäftsführung und die BDS-nahen MitarbeiterInnen habe Ruangrupa schlecht vorbereitet und in diese Situation gebracht. Wer in de Begründung von „vermeintlich antisemitischen Details“ in der Bildsprache spricht, hat aus der deutschen Geschichte zu wenig gelernt. In Kassel fand der Überfall auf die Synagoge 1938 einen Tag früher statt. 1955 sortierte ein Nazi jüdische Künstler aus. Warum wurde die zugehörige Ausstellung in Kassel bislang nicht gezeigt?

Respekt vor den Künstlerinnen und Künstlern

Das ruangrupa Kollektiv hat Mut und Einsicht gezeigt. Der Geschäftsführung aber kann kein Dank ausgesprochen werden. Die alte hat das Schlamassel erst richtig in Fahrt gebracht und für die neue ist ein Dank verfrüht. Die Zeichen stehen gut für den neuen - alten Geschäftsführer. Denn er sagt, er habe nichts zu verlieren. Ohne einer Neubesetzung im Aufsichtsratsvorstand wird auch er wieder Schwierigkeiten bekommen.
