Psychoanalyse ist das Herz und der Verstand der Psychotherapie. Ohne die psychoanalytische Sicht- und Denkweise verbleibt der Lehre und Forschung lediglich die Fortschreibung und Vermittlung von psychotherapeutischen Techniken also das Verständnis und die Behandlung von Symptomen und nicht ein Verstehen des Menschen und der aus seiner Geschichte ableitbaren Quellen der Symptome.
