Vielfalt

Dieses Land braucht ein hohes Angebot! Die Bahn ist das Fortbewegungsmittel der Zukunft! Gerade in einer Region wie Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (meine Heimat), wo das Fernverkehrsangebot sehr sehr schlecht ist, währen IR eine gute Alternative um das NETZ wieder zu verbessern! MV - Erfolg braucht VIELFALT!

Gerade Reiseradler haben heute in ICEs keine Chance, ihr Fahrrad mitzunehmen. ICs bilden eine Milderung dieser Katastrophe, aber sind auch teurer.

Kosten

Wer soll den Interregio bezahlen? Eigenwirtschaftlich ist so etwas nicht machtbar. Staatlich finanziert wäre es wettbewerbsverzerrend. Also vor der Einführung des IR sollte erstmal eine Petition zur Wiederbelebung der Deutschen BUNDESbahn erfolgen.

Sparpreisticket

Irgendwie verschließt sich mir der Sinn einer solchen Petition. Die Interregios gibt's noch, heißen jetzt lediglich Intercity. Ja, sie kosten etwas mehr als früher. Im wesentlichen ist das also eine Petition für günstigere Bahntickets. Wer billiger fahren möchte, kann sich jetzt auch für Intercitys Sparpreistickets kaufen. Das gab's früher nicht.

Fernbusse verhindern Interregio dauerhaft

Die Idee der Wiedereinführung des Interregios ist spätestens mit der Einführung der Fernbusse tot. Fernbusse bedienen genau das Publikum, dass (mittel)lange Strecken fährt und Preissensibel ist. Also bräuchte man erst eine Petition zur Abschaffung der Fernbusse. Viel Spaß dabei...
