Die Auswirkungen auf den Untergrund sind nicht absehbar. Schon der normale Bergbau hinterlässt immense Schäden, wie Tagebrüche im Ruhrgebiet (z.B. A 45 bei Dortmund). Die Gefahr der Grundwasserverseuchung durch die eingepressten Chemikalien ist sehr groß. Die Auswirkungen kann man gut in der Dokumentation von John Knox - Gasland - sehen.

Warum sollen wir die verfügbare Energiequelle ignorieren? Fracking wird schon lange betrieben - und ist in den allermeisten Fällen ohne negative Folgen geblieben! Hier wird wieder einmal die Technikfeindlichkeit herausgestellt!
