In der Uniklinik werden neu- und frühgeborene Kinder auf höchstem medizinischem Niveau behandelt. Extreme Frühchen (unter 1000g) und Neugeborene mit organischen Komplikationen brauchen dieses höchste Level und dies oft über lange Zeit. Meine Befürchtung ist, dass „weniger schwere Fälle“ bei Kapazitätsnot (die bei knapp 7000 Geburten in FR erwartbar ist) in andere Städte verlegt werden. Eine Katastrophe für betroffene Familien.

Schutz der Versorgungsqualität und der freien Wahl

Diese Petition ist ein Schutz der fleissigen Uniklinik-Hebammen vor Überlastung durch zu hohen Arbeitsanfall- denn wenn die Neonatologie im Josefs schließen müsste, würden auf einen Schlag hunderte Frauen mehr in die Uniklinik müssen und hätten zudem keine freie Wahl des Geburtsortes mehr. Und egal wie gut das Personal ist, irgendwann kann man es nicht mehr stemmen, die Versorgungsqualität der Schwangeren und Gebärenden leidet definitiv an manchen Tagen unter einem solchen Zusammenschluss!
