Schwimmen können, ist lebensrettend und ist eine grundlegenden und gesundheitsfördernde Sportart, die jeder Mensch beherrschen sollte. Wie sollen wir unsere Kindet zur Bewegung animieren, wenn schon die Schulen und sogar unser Stadtrat und auch der Bürgermeister Sport als „nicht so wichtig“ sehen!

Die Entscheidung ist gestern in der Ratsversammlung von der Schulbürgermeisterin Feldhaus zurück genommen wurden. Damit ist die Petition entbehrlich, denn die Grundlage ist weg.

Dagegen sein ist einfach. Lösungen sind das Ziel. Wer bezahlt die Kosten ?

Das Hauptproblem ist, dass ein Teil der Kinder in der Grundschule noch nicht schwimmen gelernt hat, trotz Schwimmunterricht. Adressat ist hier das Land Sachsen, SMK: verbindlich in den Lehrplan verankern, dass Ziel des Schwimmunterrichts in der Grundschule für alle Kinder mind. Schwimmstufe Bronze sein muss. Bisher sehen das Lehrkräfte nicht als ihre Aufgabe an und es hängt vom Engagement einzelner Lehrkräfte ab, ob sie den Kindern tatsäclich sicher schwimmen beibringen.
