Die Petition stellt den Konflikt in Nord- und Ostsyrien einseitig dar und blendet Menschenrechtsverletzungen durch DAANES-nahe Akteure aus. Sie vermischt legitime Kritik mit politischer Parteinahme für eine nichtstaatliche Struktur und ignoriert völkerrechtliche Grundsätze sowie sicherheitspolitische Realitäten, etwa die NATO-Partnerschaft mit der Türkei. Moralische Appelle ersetzen hier eine notwendige nüchterne, ausgewogene Außenpolitik.
