Update 3 February 2026 – Now More Than Ever! 💪
Dear Supporters,
here are the latest updates on our petition:
• What's frustrating us right now:
The Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Hessen (KVH) – the authority responsible for out-of-hours medical services – continues to IGNORE our emails, even though press representatives are always copied. 😤
• Unbelievable statement from KVH spokesperson Mr. Roth in the press:
"There aren't too few practices – parents just go to the doctor too often."
(Frankfurter Rundschau, 15 January 2026: "Despite New Pediatricians: Frankfurt Family Receives Over 40 Rejections") 🗞️
This is a slap in the face for all parents – and only strengthens our resolve to keep going!
• Current Status: 📊
✅ 4,250 signatures collected
⚠️ Of these, ONLY 3,121 are from Frankfurt postal codes
❌ We're still missing approx. 1,080 FRANKFURT signatures – only then will OpenPetition take action on our behalf!

✅ Reinstatement of the pediatric out-of-hours service at Universitätsklinikum Frankfurt
✅ A new, realistic calculation basis for pediatric care provision
✅ More transparency and support in finding pediatricians
