It currently appears to be true that a betting office / “gambling den” will move into the heritage-protected Olympic Village of 1972 in Munich – specifically into the building at Helene-Mayer-Ring 14, 80809 Munich.

This will almost certainly have negative and far-reaching effects – including geographical ones – on this family-friendly residential area.

We, as neighbors and residents, therefore demand: The revocation of the operating license granted for the betting office currently under construction and, in future, greater and better consideration of the special character of this family-friendly (think in particular of the complete absence of cars!) pure and almost completely heritage-protected (and possibly on its way to becoming a World Heritage Site!) residential area with kindergartens, daycare centers, schools, children's and youth (sports) clubs, and church children's and youth groups located in the immediate vicinity (as the crow flies: max. 150 meters – Nadischule, Nadistr. 3; min. 5 meters – directly opposite: Catholic and Protestant church center!).
