Neue Begründung:

• Die Bauarbeiten an den Häusern und Gärten im Village Lichtenrade werden voraussichtlich Ende 2021 abgeschlossen und die Baufahrzeuge abgezogen sein. Das Grundstück, auf dem der Spielplatz stehen soll, kann bereits jetzt betreten und somit Planungen angestoßen werden. So könnte ein Baubeginn nach Abschluss der Bauarbeiten im Village Lichtenrade stattfinden.
• Im neu geschaffenen Quartier Village Lichtenrade befinden sich über 200 Häuser mit mindestens ebenso vielen Kindern. Die Nachfrage nach Spielmöglichkeiten ist dementsprechend groß. Die Spielplatzinfrastruktur des umliegenden Gebiets trägt diesem Sachverhalt bislang keine Rechnung. Angesichts dessen halten wir es für ungerechtfertigt, weitere 3 ½ Jahre ohne Spielplatz auskommen zu müssen.

We hereby call on the district administration of Berlin Tempelhof-Schöneberg to bring forward the planned construction of a playground in the "Village Lichtenrade" to the beginning of 2022 or the earliest possible date. As things stand at present, planning is scheduled to begin in 2023 and completion is not scheduled until the end of 2024.

• Construction work on the houses and gardens in the Village Lichtenrade is expected to be completed by the end of 2021 and the construction vehicles will be withdrawn. The plot on which the playground is to stand can already be entered and plans can be initiated. Construction of the playground could begin after the construction of buildings and gardens is completed in the Village Lichtenrade.
• In the newly created Village Lichtenrade district there are more than 200 houses with at least as many children. The demand for playing possibilities is accordingly high. The playground infrastructure of the surrounding area has not yet taken this into account. In view of this, we consider it unjustified to have to spend another 3 1/2 years without a playground.
