Petition richtet sich an:
Bundesregierung; Bundesminister für Verkehr und digitale Infrastruktur
This Petition wants to achieve a work-over of Paragraph 1 Part 1 of the decree Elektrokleinstfahrzeuge-Verordnung – eKFV (https://www.dvr.de/verkehrsrecht/ekfv/1-15.html) currently in force for Germany.
The speed limit of E-Scooters shall be put up to minimum 30 km/h.
For bringing this petition into open discussion at the Bundestag and give our voices a greater force it is required to reach a collection of 50.000 signatures in 4 weeks. Should this target not be reached but finds a announcable number of supporters this petition will be reached in anyways in the hope to at least start a discussion.
Begründung
An E-Scooter is a cheap, space-safing and ressource-safing alternative to those forms of transportation which are currently allowed to take part in traffic. For especially in these times E-Mobility is a big subject in daily life, it represents a good alternative, especially for traffic participants in town as well as those on the countryside for not too long tours (10 to 15 km), to take part in traffic (Way to work, fast way of getting to the next main transportation for commuters, making some small shoppings, an enormous spare time factor (e.g. drive to the public pool, visit of friends) Especially for such short distances a ride with the car is out of rentability and harms our environment more than is needed - anyways it happens - out of the lazyness of human kind far too often.
Nowadays and with acknowledging that there has to be done more for our environment such limits (20km/h) writen down in the decree are blocking a fast movement to such alternatives.
