Freiburg is one in Baden-Württemberg with its private and public animal research facilities already one of the strongholds of animal experiments in the country. Similarly is Baden-Württemberg with an annual "consumption" of 469 605 animals, almost 17% of the total of 2.8 million in federal state comparison of the number one negative ranking when it comes to animal testing. Animal experiments are rejected for ethical, religious, medical and methods critical reasons. People and animals are so different that the results of animal experiments can not be transferred to humans.

When I read this information in our newspaper , for me was immediately clear that something must be done .
Therefore am pleased about every vote against the proposed new building , as long as it comes to the gratuitous torture and killing of sentient beings here .
