Zweitstudierende haben keinen Anspruch auf BAföG unabhängig, ob zuvor Leistungen bezogen wurden. Jene, die ein Studium zuvor erfolgreich abgeschlossen haben werden finanziell doppelt belastet, während Studierende quasi beliebig oft Studiengänge abbrechen können ohne Gebühren zu zahlen. Für Auszubildende gibt es Aufstiegsstipendien zur finanziellen Entlastung, für Zweitstudierende mind. 2 Nebenjobs neben einem Vollzeitstudium.

Why should tuition be free for foreigners coming to Germany who have never paid taxes here and are unlikely to have parents that have paid taxes here. Tuition is not free for Germans, we pay taxes for it as a society.

Natürlich muss die Studiengebühr bleiben. Man sieht ja auch, dass dies anscheinend Wille der Mehrheit ist, da das niedrige Quorum nicht erreicht werden konnte.
