Die allermeisten Einbrüche finden im Herbst und Winter zwischen 17 und 21 Uhr statt. Da brennen die Lichter noch. Wie Einbruchszahlen sinken sollten, wenn mitten in der Nacht die Lichter an bleiben, ist mir schleierhaft. Außerdem gehen auch in anderen Gemeinden nachts die Lichter aus. Dass Meerbusch ein Einbruchsschwerpunkt ist, hat also andere Gründe. Dass um diese Zeit nur "lichtscheues Gesindel" unterwegs ist, ist natürlich Unsinn, dennoch ist es nur eine sehr kleine Zahl. Mehrkosten von mehreren 10.000 Euro rechtfertigt das nicht.
