Der Verbrauch von Boden vor Ort, der dann der bäuerlichen Landwirtschft nicht mehr zur Verfügung steht, führt an anderer Stelle zu stärkerer industrieller Versorgung, Mehr Kosten für Transport und weniger regionaler Versorgung. Eine Stärkung des Ausbaus von privaten PV-Anlagen und derenregionaler Verbundenheit mit mehr Speichermöglichkeiten ist daher sinnvoller.

Ackerflächen dienen nicht der Biodiversität, sondern sind ökologische Wüsten. Solarparks lassen sich auch als Grün-/Weideland nutzen. Ackerflächen produzieren im Schnitt Futter für Schwein und Rind, wie direkt Lebensmittel, wodurch sie eher Schädlich sind. Ackerfläche erzeugen oft negative Nitratbelastungen fürs Grundwasser. Insgesamt Betrachtet Gewinnt man mehr als man Verliert.
