Gentrification is inexorable

While Potsdam is next to Berlin; While B & P attract crowds; While both cities do not build homes like world champions; Rents will rising inexorably. Gentrification can not be stopped by any political or legal means.

Gespalten

Also ich bin gespalten. Ich hoffe die Bewohner können dort wohnen bleiben zu erschwinglichen Mieten. Alles Gute von mir. Aber die Aushebelung des Marktes müssen dann andere bezahlen. Die Stadt sollte lieber mit privaten Partnern neue Wohnungen bauen und diese dann von mir aus zu fairen Mieten verwalten. Quasi-Enteignungen führen nur dazu, dass die Stadt weniger einnimmt und sich gar keine Investoren mehr sehen lassen. Es profitieren also nur diejenigen in dem betroffenen Haus und für die anderen bleibt dann weniger Investionsspielraum/Wohnraum.

Only for a small group of people

I can't see that there is something like a Right to live in one of the best quarters of Germany with low rents. That seems like a privilige for a small Group of People while others pay for it. How about diversity in the suburbs? Move to the suburbs and bring them diversity. Live is not a safe space with others paying for my feel good.
